New immunisation award announced

A new immunisation award will be presented at next month's Aotearoa New Zealand Immunisation Conference 2023, acknowledging the contribution that immunisation makes towards the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders

Te Whatu Ora will present a new immunisation award at this year’s Aotearoa New Zealand Immunisation Conference, being held next month in Auckland.

The Kōkako Prevention Award is awarded to an individual or group by the Prevention Directorate, National Public Health Service, Te Whatu Ora as direct acknowledgement of the contribution that immunisation makes towards the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders. In particular, it acknowledges the role of service delivery and practice as the crucial link between population health and whānau.
