Course Completion Requirement: This course must be completed within 3 months of enrolment date.
This 3-hour course covers the COVID-19 vaccines available in New Zealand, including safety, efficacy, eligibility, and administration.
Completion of this course is a prerequisite to administering COVID-19 vaccines.
You must be a health professional with a current annual practicing certificate or in the process of obtaining one.
Eligible roles include fully authorised or pharmacist vaccinators (including intern pharmacists); registered nurses, enrolled nurses and medical/nursing students working under prescription or standing orders; other regulated health professionals with prescribing rights.
The assessment is a set of 10 multiple choice questions with 20 minutes to complete.
