This 3-hour course covers the COVID-19 vaccines available in New Zealand, including safety, efficacy, eligibility, and administration.

‍Completion of this course is a prerequisite to administeringCOVID-19 vaccines.

You must:

• be a health professional with a current annual practicing certificate or in the process of obtaining one.

Eligible roles include fully authorised or pharmacist vaccinators (including intern pharmacists); registered nurses, enrolled nurses and medical/nursing students working under prescription or standing orders; other regulated health professionals with prescribing rights.

• Introduction to COVID-19 disease

• Comirnaty 30mcg vaccine

• Comirnaty 10mcg vaccine

• Comirnaty 3mcg vaccine

• The vaccination experience    

Assessment ‍

The assessment is a set of 10 multiple choice questions with 20 minutes to complete.
