This role is to do research in the area of research in vaccine-preventable diseases. The particular focus is on influenza and other respiratory infectious diseases and translational research questions for the national immunisation programme.

The Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC) is a nationwide organisation based at The University of Auckland.

We provide New Zealand health professionals and health agencies with independent, evidence-based information about vaccine-preventable diseases and the benefits and risks of immunisation. We also provide training for health professionals, national immunisation coordination and policy advice and research.
