The Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC) is a nationwide organisation based at the School of Population Health at The University of Auckland.

We provide New Zealanders with a local source of independent, factual information based on international and New Zealand scientific research regarding vaccine-preventable diseases and the benefits and risks of immunisation, information and training for health professionals, national immunisation coordination and policy advice and research into many aspects of vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases.

0800 IMMUNE over Christmas and New Year

There will be a limited 0800 IMMUNE (0800 446 863) telephone service from Wednesday 24 December 2014 to Friday 2 January 2015 inclusively. During this time, a message will provide a contact number for urgent clinical advice only.
Normal 0800 IMMUNE telephone and email services will resume at 9am on Monday 5 January 2015.

The Education and Training office will be closed from Wednesday the 24th of December  and will open on the 6th of January. Any questions regarding online learning courses will be attended to upon their return.
