Midwife Vaccinator Course (online)

This course provides Midwives with evidence-based knowledge to safely administer vaccines within their scope of practice and to provide immunisation communication for the protection of the women/wāhine, family/whānau and their babies/pēpē.

Prerequisites

Current practising certificate from registration authority (e.g. Midwifery Council of New Zealand).

2. Vaccine preventable diseases
3. National Immunisation Schedule and vaccines across the lifespan
4. Types, composition, storage and safety of vaccines
5. Immunisation Communication and coverage
6. Vaccine administration
