Education and Training

The Immunisation Advisory Centre provides a range of education and training options for health professionals, including accredited training to become an authorised vaccinator, update courses and information sessions.

We offer online, face to face and blended (mixture of online and face to face) learning opportunities. See below for details on these courses.

Registration and payment

All courses can be booked and paid for online by credit card or debit card (MasterCard or Visa).  Refer to the 2017 brochure to help with your choice. Should you need to pay by cheque, the brochure has a form to fill in and return with your payment.

These one day events are held twice a year, and are for immunisation coordinators or those directly involved with immunisation in New Zealand.

Workplace assessor training day is aimed for immunisation coordinators and public health nurses.

Midwives completing this course will be able to provide high quality, safe and effective communication and delivery of relevant vaccines on the NZ National Immunisation Schedule

This online course is designed for any health professionals providing advice to parents/caregivers or general public on the HPV immunisation programme.
